Once again, there’s not a whole lot to report. Jen is taking another ride on Ultrasound Mountain this afternoon; hopefully all will be well and we’ll just continue to wait for Daphne to make her break for the exit.
Speaking of which, one of my larger worries about Jen going into labor is that I’ll be at work, and it will be around 5pm. It already takes me 45 minutes to get to work without traffic, and during rush hour it’s easily double that. So it’s conceivable (I PUN!) that Jen would be at home waiting for me to drive her to the hospital, while I sit helplessly gridlocked in
the 10th circle of Hell I-10 traffic…like I do every evening.
Actually it occurs to me that my dad lives pretty close to us. Perhaps I ought to request that he be “on call” during the hours of 4:30 – 6:30pm. That would definitely assuage some of those concerns…
Oh, so here’s the “bottle lawn” I talked about yesterday…
Yeah. So between you and me, Internet, there’s another reason I’m ready for Daphne to arrive. Notably that I’m rapidly running out of baby-related things to talk about here.
So instead I’m going to link The Hoff’s new video, which is a new footage + mash-up of the original Kung Fury trailer. (Kung Fury was also successfully Kickstarted last January, and is due for release early this year. Very exciting.)
See you tomorrow.
