Not a whole lot of time today, but I thought I’d share some good news about a long defunct group that has made a triumphant return.  I’m talking, of course, about Geordi La Forge.

No, not really.

No, I’m talking about the new Reading Rainbow.

They successfully Kickstarted this site last year, and the “Skybrary” is now available.  I signed up for free online (my application is still “pending”), but apparently there is a book repository on their site where kids can use an iPad to not just read, but have stories read to them, as well as watch videos about the places they’re reading about.

I was a bit old for Reading Rainbow when it originally came out, but I’m 100% behind the idea.
